Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
With half ass comparisons against Axel going by game images, Saix is certainly taller than his former best friend, and so I would put him possibly at a good old 6'5. He's quite the tall individual, and he fills it out well. In fact, one could even call him rather buff, although he's not the mass of muscles characters like Xaldin and Lexaeus are. Saix swings his claymore around like it weighs nothing. It's only to be expected that he's pretty physically strong.

2. How old is he?
It's never explicitly stated, but when we see Isa in Birth By Sleep, we can pretty much guess that he and Lea were in their early-mid teens! I like to hazard a guess at fifteen. If Isa lost his heart in that same year, add the decade between BBS and Kingdom Hearts 1, then Saix is probably somewhere around 25 years old!

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
As the Organization's Second in Command, Saix tends to hold himself as someone befitting of the position! He keeps himself back straight and shoulders squared, obviously giving off a no nonsense kind of vibe. It's a position all the better to loom in, you see. Strangely enough, this can change when he's sitting and depending on how interested in who he's talking to. If he's really into what's being said to him, he'll often slouch and lean in the speaker's direction with his hands sometimes finding themselves on his knees. He doesn't really notice he does it, sometimes.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Are there any doctors that would qualify 'creepy asshole using you as a vessel' as a condition? Probably not. On a purely physical aspect, Saix is very healthy and in shape! It's emotionally and mentally that's the problem.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Above all things, Saix is purposeful. He makes his steps seem to count, no matter what. At his worst, he seems to move like a predator taking its time with the prey it's chosen, slow and patient and broadcasting his intentions without a care in the world.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
If one could somehow ignore his blatantly cold and unpleasant personality, Saix is actually quite a hottie in quite a few conventional ways! His face is attractive even with the scar, or perhaps because of it depending on your tastes, and his body is nothing to scoff at either. But... Oh, his personality.

When it comes to mirrors, Saix actually doesn't care for them. While he would never admit it, his reflection makes some small part of him uneasy in a very distinct way. He'll use a mirror and be quickly done with it, although he's become quite good at taking care of himself without needing to look into his reflection. When it comes to his own looks, he's fairly neutral about it all. Saix understands that, to other people, he is good looking but it just doesn't matter to him.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
With skin tone, Saix isn't as pale as he could be for someone who spent most of his time back in Never Was inside the Castle and under an eternally night sky, which suited his purposes and powers just fine. In all honesty, he could probably tan easily if he tried but, like his reflection, there's a faint uneasiness in the idea. He has no reason to do it as well, and so he doesn't. But scars, oh boy. Even without the noticeable facial scars, Saix isn't exactly lacking for them. There are a few old ones littered about his body from when he was still getting used to handling his own claymore upon first joining the Organization, and really old ones when he wasn't Saix and were earned from running around everywhere and scratching his knees. His most recent scarring would be the ones on his torso and arms, from when he last combated Sora in the Castle That Never Was.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Saix can't remember actively deciding to grow out his slightly light blue hair, but here it is, and he's just never bothered to try and get it cut. He doesn't really bother to do anything with it besides the two long locks in front of his ears, and the little 'spikes' that seem to fluff up on top aren't a conscious decision. He's always had trouble with them ever since he was Isa, and by this point he's decided it's not worth the trouble to figure out how to keep them down.

9. What color are his eyes?
Saix no longer has Isa's eyes. At some point in his time with the Organization, they've changed into a disconcerting golden amber color. Anyone who would have known him when he first started as the Lunar Diviner, or even before, might think they seem somehow... out of place on his face, but to newcomers, there's nothing to compare to. They're capable of an intense and emotionless gaze, which certainly doesn't help matters.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
That lineface can be pretty goddamn impressive, honestly. There's also the fact that Saix has pointed ears- another trait not belonging to Isa- and he's pierced them while with the Organization. They're actually one of the few things he cares to note about his appearance, and also one of the only things he actually likes. Not a lot of people know this, and Saix certainly doesn't talk about it.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Being the secretary of the Organization along with wielding a heavy weapon that often smashes into things, Saix has found his hands to bother him at times. When he's alone or really distracted, he tends to crack his knuckles and stretch his fingers without thinking about it if there's nothing else to do with his hands.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
What do you mean people wear more than the same damn coat day after day? Weird. But yes, Saix does tend to stay in his Organization coat unless it would just be stupid to keep it on, like when he's asleep. If that was absolutely not an option for whatever reason, he would very awkwardly keep very simple colors in, indeed, neutral shades.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
The coat seems to fit pretty darn well, considering how it clings to his chest. Saix is actually most comfortable in it, considering its resistance to Darkness and general durability. He's worn it for so long, he wouldn't know what to do in other clothes.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
There you go, talking like he wears other clothes again! Ha ha.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer brief, yep.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Like a certain other individual, Saix has a somewhat deep voice and...

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He speaks fairly evenly, words not particularly fast or slow, and his tone doesn't often fluctuate. Anyone hoping for much emotion is bound to be disappointed, as the most that slips out is a distinct kind of condescension.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Saix's accent seems somewhat American midwestern, but it's not too distinct.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English is primarily Saix's language of choice, along with whatever method of communication is given to the Lesser Nobodies. Surprisingly, he does understand a little bit of Latin from reading up on stars so much and from having to deal with Vexen's reports all the damn time.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Only with the Lessers.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Saix does prefer thinking through his words just in case, but he can be impromptu. This isn't always a good thing, considering he doesn't have good things to say more often than not.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Saix can be fairly eloquent if he cares to be, but more often than not, he doesn't and so he keeps his words to the point although certainly well executed. He knows how to say things to make people hurt, after all, and that requires thought on words.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Despite being generally known in the Organization as the Superior's lapdog, Saix is certainly more than that and possesses his own cunning and intelligence. It takes a lot of know how in order to reach being the right hand of the Superior, while also plotting against him and the rest of the Organization. He tends to have equal amount of book and street smarts, although the latter might be rusty with how little he's been on the field in recent years, so he tends to lean towards book smarts.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
While he's capable of thinking on his feet, Saix admittedly doesn't always go with the calmer approaches in such matters, which leads to events like breaking Axel's hand. He much prefers having at least some time to himself so that he can figure out the details and not let his more bestial nature make him act too hastily. When things get truly bad, he can act with an almost reckless apathy.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Without the presence of his heart, shadowed as it is by a stronger force, Saix doesn't really have many 'emotions' that would make him veer too far off course from his original thoughts. He sticks to logical and practical.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Formally, Saix can say he's done with most of highschool! However, a lot more of his knowledge is self taught. The Organization didn't reside in the School That Never Was, after all, and in order to be trusted, Saix put himself through the paces in learning about various things. Some of them were simply to make his tasks easier, such as medical and scientific knowledge so that he could figure out what Vexen was rambling about. Other things were learned in case worst ever came to worst with some of the other members.

(The human body is made out of around eighty percent water, and who's to say Nobodies are different? There were dozens and dozens of poisonous plants on Radiant Garden, and there are so many other worlds with even worse. 30 amps is all it takes for a heart to start going into cardiac arrest at times. Zero Celsius is when blood vessels close to the skin start to constrict, and when frostbite can occur.)

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Unsurprisingly, Saix is pretty keen when it comes to astronomy! For one thing, it's just plain smart when your power revolves a heavenly body. For another, it's something he's always had an interest in even before he lost his heart. He's generally interested in quite a few things, so long as they work to his benefit, and he'll never be able to help an intense interest in the heart.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
iiii will get back to this

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Bless his little angry soul, Saix tries to be even tempered. Most of the time, he even succeeds! A lot of people think of him as just a very apathetic and work oriented individual, which isn't too far off the mark. However, he is subject to the moon's changes as much as the tide, and he sometimes gets fairly... bestial, depending on the moon, the phase it's in, and such things. It has a lot of influence on him, an extremely lot of influence, and Saix knows that he's probably one of the few Nobodies so very much under the sway of the element he's supposed to control. His temper is something he does his best to control, but when he's running out of metaphorical rope to hold onto, he does tend to snap more and more. (Not helped when a moon is in its crescent shape.) No matter what the Moon may do to him, however, Saix always keeps his eyes on the prize... For better or worse.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
At worst, Saix is suspicious. It just comes with the territory, considering how the Organization is generally viewed, and from Saix's own treasonous activity. At best, he's apathetic- viewing people with a kind of disdained boredom even if he will keep in mind some of their reactions just in case.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Reacting means that you're at a disadvantage, at least in Saix's eyes. It means you can't figure things out ahead of time and put something into motion. For that reason, he much prefers to act on his own and make something happen himself.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Never sneak up on this guy. Attempting to startle him will earn you nothing but a claymore at your face. So. Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Humor? What is this thing you call humor? Saix has actually grown to have a pretty dry personality and doesn't find a lot of things funny. When he is amused, it's usually because of something dark or because he's a douchebag. When he actually employs humor himself, it's usually wit or sarcasm.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Losing your ability to really feel and connect with others, along with kind of being a vessel for darkness and creepy old men don't really count as mental disorders! I'm also not too comfortable with going at this myself, soo there you go.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Definitely a lot of his childhood and adolescence! I headcanon that he's been interested in the night sky since he was Isa. His friendship with Lea, and then Axel, was also very vital to who he was and now is as a person.

14. What does he fear?
Saix would tell you that he can't really fear anything, since he doesn't have a heart, but that's a lie and even he knows it, although he attributes it to something scientific like survival instinct. He's scared of the idea that he might never really get his heart back. He's scared that he's wasted ten years of his life fighting for something- someone. And even though he doesn't show it, sometimes, he's terrified of Xemnas.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He wants to get his heart back.
He wants someone to call him 'Isa', to call him that not to placate him but because it's true.
He wants to sit in a garden again and feel happy, not out of place and wrong.
He wants to be.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Saix is actually seriously secretive about his past and doesn't like more people learning about it. It's one of the few things left for him, and there's this admittedly irrational thought that more people learning about it means he's losing it somehow. He wants to keep it all to himself before it slips through his fingers and leaves him with nothing. The relationship he used to have with Lea, with Axel, is especially something he wishes other people didn't know about. He just wants Axel to stop existing, both physically and in his mind. Things would be easier, he thinks, if that was the case.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
THE WORLD MAY NEVER CANONLY KNOW but in my headcanon, Isa can't really remember his father all that much! He was raised mostly by his mother and respected her quite a bit for how strong she seemed to him at a young age. Didn't respect her enough not to go gallivanting about the town because of his best friend's troublemaking tendencies, but you know...

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Isa is an only child! Which was good, because Lea was enough trouble on his own.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Isa faintly knew of some cousins he had, and spent some time with them and his aunt and uncle, but he wasn't really super attached to any of them.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
A very long time ago, Isa used to have to not only talk to his mother if he wanted to make any plans, but also Lea, to make sure that they wouldn't be doing anything too outrageous or stupid that day. Not too long ago, Saix used to insert excuses into reports for Axel and thought him the only person he would ever need. These days, Saix is alone, and considers himself better for it.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Saix and Axel existed as partners because Isa and Lea had existed as best friends willing to break into castles together, laughing in the face of authority. Who knows how those two met, but it was probably dumb, and it was probably Lea's fault, and Isa probably didn't realize how much he would grow to care for him. Saix often thinks back on that and how he was a very stupid boy. There are perhaps some thoughts in there which are just faintly jealous.

6. Does he have other close friends?
In Vatheon, Saix now has a golden retriever named New Moon. Oh, wait, you meant friends who aren't dogs? Ha ha ha ha ha nope.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Saix can get along with people if he chooses to. He usually doesn't, because other people are often worthless to him and the idea of friendship is something that is kind of laughable to him right now.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
He'd say neither, but in honesty, it's the friendship he had that affected him the most.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Saix is currently married to Axel, but they're separated. He's trying to get a divorce, and Axel is having none of it.

I mean.

He's single. He'll probably be staying single, because who the hell would date him?

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nnnnnnnope.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
I can probably imagine Isa having a very young crush on some tough lady guard up at the castle then, like most young teenagers, having various different crushes on more than a few people, including his best friend. Saix, on the other hand, has glared down any attempts at romantic attraction and hasn't crushed on anyone for ages.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Saix needs someone dissimilar to him- someone brighter than he is, someone who won't take his shit but will keep digging away at him anyway. He needs someone who can realize that there's just enough of Isa inside of him, locked in a cage partially of his own design. It has to be someone who makes him want to care- and that's a problem all its own.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He doesn't, which I'm sure many people are thankful for.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
By this point at around his death, Saix views practically the whole world as a potential enemy. No one can be trusted, and he's not willing to give it a shot. On a more narrow spectrum, he views Sora, Riku, and Axel as all very distinct enemies he would prefer dead if given the chance. Kairi and Demyx aren't trusted either, but he doesn't view them as much dangerous at all. Roxas... is definitely someone dangerous, but he doesn't seem like he would actively start conflict, so Saix, while keeping an eye on him all the same, has him on the backburner in terms of priorities.

The rest of the Organization also can be counted, particularly Xemnas, Marluxia, and Zexion. Zexion was too smart for his own good, so Saix thought it best to eliminate him along with Marluxia, who could disrupt his plans as well.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Saix is somewhere in the 3s, although he certainly doesn't often follow through with any sexual or romantic urges.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Sex sure is a thing. It sure is a thing he views as a waste of time!

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Saix is actually super sensitive with his ears, but without permission, he will break someone's hand if they go to touch them. His scar can go either way, depending on how much he trusts someone. If it's nothing more than a fling, hand breaking. Yep. If things were actually ever serious, then he would very awkwardly allow it and not know what to think. As for weird... Well. He sometimes tends to stare a lot at his partner, particularly if he thinks they're not really paying attention.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Canon hasn't yet said what Saix's birthday would be, which leaves his zodiac sign unknown! I've decided to list him as a Scorpio. I know it's said that Scorpios are definitely sexual beings, supposedly, but I'm ignoring that for other aspects like a Scorpio's passion and determination! I haven't done in-depth study of this, but I've definitely seen a reoccuring theme when I've looked up Scorpio. They're extremely determined, and may act cool but are in seriousness utterly passionate and motivated.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Nope! Well, for the most part. Saix is very strangely affected to the moon, but he wouldn't call it spiritual. Just... odd. And making him see things in a very strange way.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. He really doesn't. Saix will do whatever he believes to be necessary if he has a goal to strive for, and will be a douchebag every step of the way about it.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
They're idly interesting at most, but for the most part, foolish and pointless and not worth wasting too much of his time about.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
As Isa, his family was just a little bit below middle class, which meant having to make things stretch at times, but Radiant Garden was a good place with a good king (once upon a time). They managed, and he was happy.

In the Organization, as Saix, he didn't really have to pay for much. The Castle That Never Was didn't really demand a monetary kind of rent- just dedication and hard work. Occasionally, the Heartless would drop munny and other strange little valuables, or he would find something abandoned while on a mission. It was purely out of habit that Saix would save it all up. Perhaps if things had ended happier and he really did get a chance to start over again, he probably would have had enough to keep himself stable until he could find a normal job.

In Vatheon, everything is free! So Saix doesn't really have anything to worry about at all and is as stable as can be while being an experiment for strange scientists.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Saix has grown to be very much a lone wolf while in the Organization, determined not to grow friendly or trust any of the other members. After all, they were either strangers or the individuals he was certain were responsible for what happened to Radiant Garden, what happened to him and Lea. They were all going to be betrayed in the end, so he saw no reason to get close to them and stayed focused completely on his work. It's a habit that he hasn't really changed throughout all the years. If anything, he's become even more reluctant to waste time with idle small talk and strangers after Axel's betrayal to him. He'll speak to others if necessary- and now that isn't very often at all.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
While he used to live with others in the Castle That Never Was, it was an enormous place and one could probably go for days without seeing another person if they didn't use portals so often. Saix is perhaps a little too used to that emptiness, and he's taken to living in a quaint little two story house in Vatheon's Coral Corral. It's still a relatively new home, and would seem unused to anyone walking inside. Saix keeps it pretty clean, and, honestly, his efforts and lack thereof to make it seem like a proper home just give off the same kind of feel as the Castle- empty.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Saix likes to stay prepared, so he often has things like potions stocked in reserve. Other than that, he doesn't really like to waste his money and doesn't spend too much of it. Astronomy items are as far as he'll go.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
Formerly an organizer, mission giver, right hand man, traitor, and Berserker, Saix now isn't much of anything with the Organization apparently destroyed and him with nowhere else to really go. While he was by no means content, he does have to admit that at least being in the Organization seemed to give him some kind of purpose and lots of work to do.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Saix isn't used to free time, or at least so much of it, so he's really at a loss of what to do in Vatheon. Sometimes, he really does simply sit and stare at a wall, lost in his own thoughts. However he can never really stay still for long, so he has managed to pick up things. For the most part, he's starting his own files on Vatheon, its purpose, and its inhabitants. Saix does like dogs, and he's taken one into his house, which gives him plenty to do as well. However the only thing that can really be called a hobby would be his interest in astronomy which has stayed strong even now. When the nights are clear, he often goes up to look at the night sky and wonder the names of the stars in this World.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Saix eats fairly healthy. He sort of has to in order to keep himself where he is physically. For the most part, he makes his own meals because he finds that easier than relying on someone else not to mess up his food. His cooking tends to be pretty simple, nothing fancy at all and just what's needed to get him through the day. While he's come to view sea salt ice cream as attached with negative memories, he still has a fondness for honey buns.
